Dates of Impact

January 7, 2026 through March 5, 2026

April 14, 2026 through August 10, 2026

 

If the cancellation affects only one leg of flights, passengers may:

  • remain on the operating nonstop ENVF segment and rebook the other cancelled segment via scheduled air or
  • choose one of the other protection options below

 

Applicable dates for one-way segments:

  • Departure between 11/19/25-1/6/26, return between 1/7/26-3/5/26
  • Departure between 1/7/26-3/5/26, return between 3/6/26-4/13/26
  • Departure between 3/6/26-4/13/26, return between 4/14/26-8/10/26

 

If passengers opt to stay on the operating ENVF one way and choose a scheduled air flight for the cancelled segment, please reach out directly to Client Notification at clientnotifications-alg@applelg.net with original reservation number as this option may not be self-serviced.

Travel Options

To save you time, the following options can be initiated via self-service. Instructions on how to do so are included below.

REBOOK to another ENVF (Operating from RFD, MKE, LAN, STL)
  • Original vacation package price honored
  • $150 deduction on revised reservation – can be retained by advisor or passed to customers
  • TPP may be moved to the new reservation
  • Must be within 14 days of original travel date
  • Must mirror original length of stay and hotel/room category
  • May not shift from non-holiday dates to 12/24/25 – 1/1/26 or 3/28/26 – 4/5/26
REBOOK with scheduled air traveling to PUJ from ORD (using the original reservation)
  • Original vacation package price honored if difference ≤ $150 pp
  • Clients pay difference only after $150 grace range is met
  • $50 pp Future Travel Credit provided if vacation price remains the same or decreases
  • Must be within 7 days of original date of travel
  • Must mirror original length of stay and hotel/category
REBOOK to a 2026 ENVF to Cancun
  • $100 deduction on the revised reservation – can be retained by advisor or passed to customers
  • TPP may be moved to new reservation
  • Clients responsible for new package price and may be required to deposit additional funds at time of change
REBOOK to remaining ORD/PUJ ENVF (departing 3/6/26 – 4/9/26)
  • Original vacation package price honored
  • New reduced pricing will be honored if applicable
  • $50 per person Future Travel Credit provided
  • Must be within 14 days of original travel date
  • Must mirror original length of stay and hotel/room category
  • May not shift from non-holiday dates to 12/24/25 – 1/1/26 or 3/28/26 – 4/5/26
Request a REFUND or TRAVEL CREDIT
  • ALGV change and cancel fees waived, including cost of TPP
  • Advise ALGV within 10 business days of notification

 

Next Steps

OPTION 1: REBOOK to another Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight operating from Rockford, Milwaukee, Lansing, or St. Louis to Punta Cana on another travel date.

This option must be within 14 days of their original dates of travel. Please note that when switching dates of travel, passengers may not shift from non-holiday dates into Christmas/New Year/Easter holiday dates (12/24/25 – 1/1/26, 3/28/26 – 4/5/26). 

 

The original vacation package pricing will be honored when rebooking to Punta Cana from another ENVF origin with the same length of stay at the same hotel/room category. Should the new reservation pricing be lower than the original reservation, the new reduced pricing will be honored. In order to address the cancellation of their original travel plans, we will deduct $150 per person on the revised reservation. Feel free to give this discount to your customer to help book a park-and-fly hotel offer, cover additional travel expenses, or increase your commission to help pay you for the additional time you are spending on revising their booking … or maybe a little bit of both!  

 

To take advantage of this option:
1. Cancel the reservation. Travel credit will then be issued within 1 to 2 business days.
2. Make your new reservation.

3. Apply travel credit to the new reservation.

Note: If the original reservation contains Travel Protection Plus (TPP), you have 7 days to move the TPP to the new reservation as long as the original booking does not have any supplier penalties by using the Eligible Air Exchange/Waive Penalty Form. If you are unable to make a reservation without payment upon booking or required payment within 24 hours, please click to contact us for the most efficient service.

4. Apply any difference in deposit or final payment where applicable.

Please reply to this email or message clientnotifications-alg@applelg.net with original and new reservation numbers, referencing option 1 to honor the original vacation price and adjust the additional $150 per person discount off the new vacation price.

 

OPTION 2:  CHANGE your client’s air on the original reservation and REBOOK a scheduled air flight to Punta Cana from Chicago O’Hare.

This can be accomplished by modifying your original booking and reselecting the scheduled air you would like.  

 

Your clients may choose to change to different dates, keeping the same hotel and room category, with scheduled air flights for within 7 days before or after their original departure travel date. Vacation package price will be honored provided it does not exceed more than $150 per person over the original pricing. Should the new pricing exceed the additional $150 allowance per person, clients would be responsible for the difference in costs and may be required to deposit additional funds at time of change. If the vacation price were to remain the same or decrease, passengers will receive a $50 per person future travel credit after travel is complete. Please note if choosing to rebook scheduled air, your customer will now be subject to the policies and payments that fall under the scheduled air product.  

 

To take advantage of this option:
1. Access the reservation in VAX. (Click here for additional information on how to change dates in VAX.)
2. Click on the Modifications tab.
3. Click Change Res Date.

4. Click Search if keeping same travel dates or enter new dates if changing travel dates.

Note: If the original hotel is not available for the original dates, please contact the contact center at 1-866-ALG-DESK for assistance.

5. Select scheduled air flights and original hotel and room category.
6. Check out.
7. Apply any additional deposits required.

 

Please reply to this email or message clientnotifications-alg@applelg.net with the original reservation number and reference option 2 for the Client Notification team to apply applicable discounts and the $50 per person Future Travel Credit after travel is complete.

OPTION 3:  REBOOK to an Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight operating from Chicago O’Hare to Cancun in 2026.

Clients are responsible for the new package price and may be required to deposit additional funds at the time of change. In order to address a potential increase in costs, ALGV will deduct $100 per person on the revised reservation, which we suggest using to incentivize your clients or increasing your commission to help compensate you for the time you’re investing in protecting the booking, or even both since it’s up to you!  

 

To take advantage of this option:
1. Cancel the reservation. Travel credit will be issued within 1 to 2 business days.
2. Make your new reservation.

3. Apply travel credit to the new reservation.

OPTION 4: REBOOK to another Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight operating from Chicago O’Hare to Punta Cana departing 3/6/26 – 4/9/26 with all other details as originally booked.

Please note: in order to be eligible for this option, these dates must fall within 14 days of the original dates of travel. Additionally, if switching dates of travel, passengers may not shift from non-holiday dates into Christmas/New Year/Easter holiday dates (12/24/25 – 1/1/26, 3/28/26 – 4/5/26).

 

The original vacation package pricing will be honored when rebooking from Chicago O’Hare to Punta Cana with the same length of stay at the same hotel/room category. Should the new reservation pricing be lower than the original reservation, the new reduced pricing will be honored. In order to address the cancellation of their original travel plans, passengers will receive a $50 per person future travel credit after travel is complete.

4. Enter new travel dates, then click Search. Remember to book original hotel and room category!
5. Check out.
6. Reply to this email or message clientnotifications-alg@applelg.net with original reservation number and reference option 4 to honor the original vacation price

 

OPTION 5: Request a REFUND or TRAVEL CREDIT.

If customers decide not to rebook, they may receive a full refund or travel credit. All ALG Vacations® change and cancel fees are waived, including the cost of Travel Protection Plus. 

 

To ensure full refund amounts are properly processed, all reservations will be cancelled Friday, November 21, 2025. Once cancelled, you will receive your travel credit within 24-48 hours. If cash back is requested, please allow 30 days for us to process the refund.

 

To take advantage of this option:
1. Please contact Client Notification by messaging clientnotifications-alg@applelg.net with original reservation number and reference option 5 within 10 business days, by Wednesday November 19, 2025.  

 

If you have already changed or canceled these impacted reservations, no action is required your part and you do not need to contact us regarding your client’s reservation(s). Again, please note that reservations with no actions taken by Thursday, November 20, 2025, will be cancelled on Friday, November 21, 2025.
