Paris: Travelers to Paris before or during the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, should expect more congestion on roads and public transportation, and temporary road closures or limited access to certain public transit stops, especially around Olympic venues. Some restricted access areas, including popular tourist sites, will be limited to pedestrian traffic only. Be prepared for crowds, potential delays, and increased security measures that may result in security checks at various locations. Reservations for attractions and dining are highly encouraged as they are expected to be fully booked far in advance.
