Prepare for Travel with Alaska Airlines
Approximately 3 days prior to travel, you will receive an email containing a revised travel itinerary that includes your customer's Alaska Airlines confirmation code. The confirmation code can be located in the Updated Reservation Information section (directly above Flight Information).
Once their confirmation code has been provided, please have your client follow these steps in order to expedite their check-in process and ensure a smooth boarding.
If this information is not collected in advance, it will need to be manually collected at the airport prior to departure, which can lead to longer lines, delays, and frustration.

Use the Alaska Airlines App for the Best Experience
We highly recommend downloading the Alaska Airlines app from the App Store or Google Play. Use of the app allows you to keep instant tabs on flights and is the only way to access a mobile boarding pass.

Add a Reservation in Manage Trip
Look for the Manage Trip option to access the reservation on AlaskaAir.com or open the app and click on the plus button (+) to add a reservation.

Add Passenger Details
Add the following details to the reservation:
- Passport information
- Contact tracing information (available to add once in destination, prior to return flight)
- Known Traveler Information (if applicable)
Optional Add-Ons Prior to Take-Off
Both seat assignments and bag fees must be added to your booking at least 4 days prior to departure. The latter may also be purchased through Alaska Airlines during check-in at a higher cost. Check-in is available within 24 hours of travel on AlaskaAir.com or the app.

Pre-Purchase Seat Assignments
Please note that pre-purchased seat assignments will be viewable on the Alaska Airlines app and website once the airline confirmation code is provided. Advance seat selection is only available through ALG Vacations.

Add Bags to Your Reservation
Pre-purchased checked bag fees—along with any bag included with a First Class, Preferred Perks, or Premium Class seat selection—will not display on an Alaska reservation until 24 hours prior to departure (during the check-in process).
