Some advisors are experiencing sporadic “time-out” errors when attempting to complete bookings or add features - such as transfers or Travel Protection Plus - across ALG Vacations sites and booking engines. While we work to resolve this issue, we recommend the following temporary workarounds:
- Option 1: After narrowing down your client's preferred air, hotel, and destination, start a new Advanced Search using those specific details. This helps reduce the number of returned options and can improve processing speed so the features can then be added.
- Option 2: Proceed with completing the booking. After the reservation is confirmed, review the details. If any features you attempted to add are missing, modify the booking to include them. Be sure to re-add the hotel to ensure all applicable features display properly.
